10–12 small tortillas (flour or corn)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ cup diced tomatoes or salsa
Optional: sour cream, avocado, lime wedges, cilantro
Instructions
Brown the Beef (Minutes 0–2):
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook undisturbed for 2 minutes for a nice sear.Break & Season (Minutes 3–5):
Break up beef with a spoon, cooking until no longer pink (about 5 minutes). Drain grease. Stir in taco seasoning and 2–3 tablespoons water.Simmer & Blend (Minutes 6–8):
Let mixture simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened and fully coated.Warm the Tortillas (Minutes 9–11):
Heat tortillas in a microwave or dry skillet until soft and pliable.Assemble (Minutes 12–15):
Spoon seasoned beef into tortillas. Add cheese, lettuce, and tomato (or salsa).
Top with sour cream or avocado if desired.
